{"id":851,"date":"2024-08-18T22:52:41","date_gmt":"2024-08-18T22:52:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ysac.info\/?p=851"},"modified":"2024-08-28T16:13:58","modified_gmt":"2024-08-28T16:13:58","slug":"vr-treatment-planning-no-pic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ysac.info\/?p=851","title":{"rendered":"VR Treatment Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Learning Objectives<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Virtual Reality (VR) treatment project was a pilot project that began during the pandemic with funding from Thunderbird Partnership Foundation and The Youth Hope Fund.\u00a0 YSAC centres were invited to volunteer for a project to explore the use of virtual reality as an adjunct treatment therapy, Charles J Andrew, Leading Thunderbird Lodge and\u00a0 KaNaChiHih staff worked together to test a variety of applications that would assist in meeting therapeutic goals like improving sleep, improving physical activity, and increasing connection points.
