Nanaskomaow Kisemanito, using teachings left to us from our ancestors, the Clear Hills Youth Treatment Centre will offer programming that ensures every youth’s unique healing journey to strengthening the belief in oneself is supported through First Nation culture and western approaches to recovery and wellness.
Mission
Nanaskomaow Kisemanito, The Clear Hills Youth Treatment Centre is a distinctive healing and treatment program based on Indigenous traditions, ceremony, culture, and land-based teachings.
Program
Holistic, client-centered, needs-based approach, celebrating inclusion, identity & diversity. The First Nation’s health and wellness worldview encompasses caring for the individual from a wholistic perspective, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually; therefore, all of these aspects will be integrated and reinforced in the programming at CHYTC. Tapwehtamowin (Belief in Self) supports celebrating inclusion, identity and diversity. CHYTC practice includes developing specialized programming that is client-centered and based on each youth’s unique needs.
